Please reach us at shawnasdogs@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We require the following:
Email or text is the best way to get in touch with us. Since we all are with the dogs all day long, the amount of time we have near the phone is slim. If you happen to call but can't reach us, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
We offer small groups of 1 staff member to 10 big dogs, or 1 staff member to 15 small dogs. While it's not typical we have a group larger than that, if we do a second staff member will be in group to help supervise!
YES! Absolutely! We have a birthday board where we list all the monthly birthdays. Also, if your dog happens to come on their actual birthday, they can have their own mini-photoshoot! If you want to bring in special treats for your pup and their friends, we will be happy to pass them out at lunch time!
Yes. We have "naptime" from 11:30a-1pm. All dogs are crated during this time, with the exception of half day dogs. This gives all the pups time to relax and rest before the afternoon play session. Outside of naptime, the dogs are out and playing all day!
Absolutely! While boarding would be a challenge, we can accommodate half days of daycare for your pup to come and play! We are always always willing to try out any dog for a full day, crate trained or not. Most can accommodate to our routine and do just fine in a crate around their friends!
We have several suggestions for both in-home pet sitters as well as other facilities that offer more of a traditional boarding service!

Boarding Kennels:
We do not have publicly accessible cameras. Only those for staff to access both indoors and outdoors for safety purposes. We do however have a private Facebook group which you can join where we post all the pictures and videos we take of the pups playing all day long!
YES! We offer prepaid, daycare packages at a discount. Eligibility for packages is based on attendance.
For daycare, nope! Just a pup that is ready to play! If your dog eats lunch/needs smaller more frequent meals for medical reasons, you are welcome to bring their lunch for naptime.
For boarding, all that is required is your pups food and any medications they may take. We supply bedding, bowls, ets. But you are welcome to bring treats, their favorite toy or blanket, or something that smells like you from home to make them comfortable!
Yes, we have both big dog and small dog groups. We sort initially by size, then by temperament. For example, if you have a medium to large sized senior dog who likes to lay around in a calmer group, they would likely hang out with our small dogs!
Our staff is trained in Pet CPR and First Aid. Staff is always always present during operating hours, and always immediately supervising the dogs. In case of a medical emergency with your dog, will will call you and your emergency contact if you are not reachable. We also work closely with local veterinarians.
We have a very thorough behavior policy that outlines undesirable behaviors and how we handle them. We do operate on a "3 strike system" but starting a fight is cause for immediate dismissal. To maintain a structured, safe, and enriching environment, all dogs are continuously evaluated based on behavior and ability to appropriately socialize within their assigned group.
